Since 1982, Leadership Jackson has been a part of the Jackson County Chamber of Commerce’s professional development initiatives. During that time, Leadership Jackson has positively influenced the leadership journey of over 1,000 participants.
During this prestigious leadership academy participants will receive instruction from some of the area’s foremost authorities on a variety of leadership and workplace topics such as personality identification and management, confrontation, motivation, culture, emotional intelligence, and ethics. Beyond these 14 classes, held over seven months, participants are also required to complete several other requirements designed to broaden their understanding of non-profits, the Chamber, government, service clubs, mentorship, and our community. Knowledge gained is not limited to classroom theory. A significant portion of growth is achieved through a practical, real world group project completed in small groups.
The academy runs from September 28, 2022 – April 19, 2023. Individual sessions are held on Wednesdays, generally every other, from 8am-11am. Location information provided after registration.
